Orchard Street Gallery Grand Opening
Saturday the 30th July was a big day in Taralga. The beautiful clear blue sky and crisp Tablelands temperature brought travellers through town in droves.
Many had come to town by invitation to attend the opening of the Orchard Street Gallery, and the exhibition of owner/operator artists Jo Morris and Bob Withers. Local Gundungurra elder David King gave attendees a Welcome To Country smoking ceremony in the driveway next to the gallery, which was much appreciated by all who witnessed it.
The exhibition was very well received and qualified as a sell-out, which bodes well for the future of the gallery.
